SERVICE
Duration of service can vary in length, and is based on the condition of client's nails, clients treatment preference, and experience level of the Nail Technician. Clients are responsible for communicating any time restrictions, prior to the beginning of service, and understand that by doing so, the quality of finish may vary as a result. 


Clients are responsible for expressing any minor changes or discomfort (such as irritation, nail shape, length, colour,) to their technician when asked during their appointment. Clients who do not disclose such information during their appointment, whether freely, or when asked, will be assumed to be 100% satisfied with their service.

Receipts containing a breakdown of your treatment are offered at the end of every appointment, and can be provided on request.

HEALTH/HYGIENE + ATTITUDE
Clients are required to wash their hands prior to service.

In very rare cases, reaction to product can occur. Clients are responsible for disclosing any allergies or health conditions that may affect their treatment prior to the appointment. The technician reserves the right to decline your booking for the safety of the your health, and will not be held responsible for Clients that do not disclose such information in advance.
If you attend your appointment with an open wound (bleeding/pus), infection of skin and/or nail, swelling, or a highly contagious skin/nail condition, your appointment will canceled with the cancellation policy in place. If you have any medical concerns prior to attending your appointment, always consult with a medical professional.

If you are unwell, such as fever, cough, runny nose, or general feeling of malaise, please do not come in for your appointment and book to reschedule. The technician reserves the right to refuse service and apply the last-minute cancellation policy for Clients who come to their appointment visibly unwell.

 

Clients that show visible signs of deliberately causing excessive damage to their natural nail plate (such as signs of picking at, or peeling off, the gel enhancements) may be refused repairs or future service for the safety of the your health.

 

Rude or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service. Please be respectful and kind when entering our space.

PRICE
Online prices through our service page and booking platform are estimates only. Prices can vary depending on nail length, condition, and design. The exact price payable for your chosen service will be quoted to you prior to your service upon request if a photo and description if provided to us. Clients are able to request quotes for up to 3 designs prior to their appointment. Should you have a budget, please inform us before your service, so we can suggest designs available within the price range that will enable us to give you the best result for your desired look. All designs are individually charged, as there are thousands of options and design variables. Clients can check in their receipt for a breakdown of their service price and details.

 

Prices are subject to change, without notice, with the technician's experience.  

DESIGN
All designs are individually charged. Due to the unique nature of design and colour perception, abstract drawings, including marble, patterns, character, and nuance arts are not guaranteed to be replicated exactly as they are displayed. Designs from other salons cannot be replicated exactly the same, and are subject to limitations/changes dependant on materials we have on hand. Clients wishing for character nails are responsible for notifying us prior to booking appointment as it may not be possible for technician based on their skill set.



DEPOSIT
A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment, unless the service cost is less than this amount, in which case the client will be required to pay in full prior to your appointment. Deposits will be fully be deducted from your service price, and applied on the day of your appointment, after your service. All deposits are non-refundable, unless the client cancels/reschedules prior to 48 hours of appointment time. All applicable deposit refunds will incur a 1.6% processing fee.

CANCELLATIONS/ RESCHEDULING/NO SHOWS
Clients are required to give more than 24hrs notice for appointment cancellation/rescheduling. Clients who cancel or reschedule within 24hours of appointment time will forfeit their deposit, and a $50 deposit will be required to secure a new booking. If you are unwell, such as fever, cough, runny nose, or general feeling of malaise, please do not come in for your appointment. Out of consideration for our clients and the technician, Glossy Fox reserves all rights to refuse your service with the last minute cancelation policy for clients who come to their appointment visibly unwell.

Clients who do not show at their appointment time will not be applicable for deposit refund.

LATE
Clients are responsible for informing us as soon as possible if they are running late to their appointment. Late clients may have limitations as to what services or designs they are able to receive, due to time restrictions. Clients more than 20 minutes late will have their appointment automatically cancelled, and their $50 deposit forfeited. A new $50 deposit will be required to secure a new appointment.

CHANGE OF MIND FOR SERVICE
Clients are responsible for informing us of any desired changes to their booking prior to 48hrs of their appointment time. Clients are responsible to carefully reading through and selecting their required services when making appointments via our booking platform. Clients are able to contact, and consult with, us for advice/confirmation on what services they may require prior to making a booking. Clients who do not check all required services when booking their appointment, and who do not notify us of any changes prior to 48hours of their appointment time, understand that it may not be possible to fit in any additional service requests not he day of their appointment, and will be subject to the technician’s schedule.

Additional charges may apply to clients who fail to notify us of desired service changes, or select correct services when booking online.



PROMOTIONS/EVENTS
Monthly Event Designs are special designs set at a discounted and fixed price, and are not subject to any additional promotions or offers. $20 Referral Rewards are only applicable once the referred client has received, and paid for their treatment. 10% Off Promotion is only applicable to new clients on their very first studio visit, after which standard service prices apply. All promotions and events are subject to change at any time. Promotions are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer unless stated. 

CHILDREN
For the safety of your child, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing them with you to our studio. Our space is not designed to be child-safe, and there will not be extra hands to assist with childcare during your appointment. However, we warmly welcome infants, and are a breastfeeding-friendly studio.
