Welcome to Glossy Fox. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Glossy Fox website and to purchases made through our online store, including jewellery purchases and bookings for nail services.

By accessing our website, placing an order or booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with any policies or additional terms referred to within them. Glossy Fox is an Australian small business offering fashion jewellery and professional gel nail services.

Throughout these Terms, “Glossy Fox”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Glossy Fox, and “You”, “your” and “customer” means any person who accesses our website, purchases a product or books a service through Glossy Fox

You are welcome to browse and use our website for personal and lawful purposes.

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or abusive purposes;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems or customer information;

  • interfere with the security, functionality or operation of the website;

  • introduce or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code;

  • scrape, reproduce, copy or commercially use our website content without our permission;

  • collect or attempt to collect personal information about other website users;

  • use our content, photography, branding or product descriptions in a way that suggests an association with Glossy Fox without our permission; or

  • provide information that is false, misleading or fraudulent.

We may update, modify or temporarily suspend parts of our website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, technical issues or changes to our products and services.

Our jewellery is designed and assembled by Glossy Fox using sourced jewellery components and materials. Our pieces are not represented as handmade.

Each design is thoughtfully selected and assembled with consideration given to its overall appearance, wearability and finish.

Material information is provided on each individual product page. Because different designs may use different materials or components, please refer to the relevant product page for the most accurate information about each individual piece.

Natural Materials & Variations

Where freshwater pearls or other natural materials are used, variations in shape, size, colour, texture and surface characteristics are natural and contribute to the individuality of each piece.

These natural variations are not considered defects.

Minor variations may also occur between product photographs and the physical product due to lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, pricing and availability displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.

However, minor variations in colour or appearance may occur between photographs and the physical product due to lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, pricing or availability.

If an item has been purchased at an incorrect price due to an obvious pricing or listing error, we will contact you before processing the order further and provide you with the available options.

If we are unable to supply an item you have purchased, we will contact you and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


Our jewellery is designed with everyday wear in mind; however, all jewellery requires appropriate care.

To help preserve the appearance and finish of your jewellery, we recommend following our Jewellery Care Guide, including avoiding prolonged exposure to water, perfume, lotions, alcohol, cleaning products and other chemicals.

Natural wear and changes to a jewellery finish over time can occur depending on how a piece is worn and cared for.

Our care recommendations do not exclude or limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted if there is an issue with product availability, pricing, payment or suspected fraudulent activity.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • an item is unavailable;

  • there has been an obvious pricing or listing error;

  • payment cannot be successfully processed;

  • we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or

  • we are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund.

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

We accept the payment methods made available at checkout, which may include payment services provided by third-party providers such as Square, Stripe (Apple Pay) and PayPal.

Payment transactions are processed through the relevant payment provider and may be subject to that provider's own terms, conditions and privacy policies.

You are responsible for ensuring that the payment and billing information you provide is accurate and up to date.

Glossy Fox does not store complete payment card details where payment is processed through a third-party payment provider.

Where a payment provider processes your personal or payment information, that information may be handled in accordance with the provider's own privacy policy and applicable terms.

Jewellery orders are shipped using the delivery methods and providers made available by Glossy Fox and are subject to our Shipping & Delivery FAQ.

Delivery timeframes provided on our website are estimates only and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, weather, public holidays or other carrier disruptions.

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order.

If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional postage costs may apply before the order can be resent.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law where an order is not supplied within the required timeframe.

Our jewellery returns, refunds and exchanges are governed by the Returns & Refunds Policies outlined in our FAQ's. We do not generally accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection or simply deciding you no longer want an item.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If jewellery is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not meet applicable consumer guarantees, please contact us so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.

Certain Glossy Fox jewellery is covered by our Jewellery Warranty.

Our warranty applies in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Please refer to our Jewellery Warranty for details regarding the warranty period, covered issues and how to make a claim.

From time to time, Glossy Fox may offer promotional pricing, discount codes, special offers or complimentary gifts.

Each promotion is subject to the specific terms stated at the time of the offer. These may include:

  • specified start and end dates;

  • minimum purchase requirements;

  • eligible or excluded products;

  • one use per customer;

  • limited availability;

  • one promotional offer per order; or

  • other conditions stated at the time of the promotion.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively to previous purchases;

  • promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • promotional codes cannot be combined with another discount or promotional offer;

  • sale or promotional items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges; and

  • complimentary or mystery gifts have no cash value and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or exchanges.

Glossy Fox is not responsible for promotional codes obtained from unauthorised third-party websites or sources.

Nothing in a promotion or promotional condition limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

All content appearing on the Glossy Fox website is owned by or licensed to Glossy Fox unless otherwise stated.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • the Glossy Fox name and branding;

  • logos and graphic elements;

  • product photography;

  • website photography;

  • product descriptions;

  • written content;

  • website design and layout; and

  • other original creative content.

You may view and use our website for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify or commercially use our content without our prior written permission.

Where our website allows customers to submit reviews, photographs, testimonials or other content, you agree that your submission:

  • is genuine and based on your own experience;

  • does not contain unlawful, misleading, defamatory, offensive or inappropriate material;

  • does not impersonate another person;

  • does not infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights; and

  • does not contain malicious software or harmful code.

By submitting content to Glossy Fox, you give us permission to reproduce and display that content for purposes reasonably connected with our business, including displaying it on our website, social media or other marketing channels.

You retain ownership of content you submit.

We may remove or decline to publish content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

Glossy Fox does not create, purchase or knowingly publish false or misleading customer reviews.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for activity conducted through your account. We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

Glossy Fox uses third-party platforms and service providers to help operate our website, process payments, manage bookings, provide delivery services and support other aspects of our business.

These services may include website and ecommerce platforms, payment providers, booking and scheduling services, delivery providers, analytics services and other technology providers.

Our current service providers may include Wix, Square, Stripe, PayPal and Acuity Scheduling/Squarespace, although these providers may change from time to time.

When you use a third-party service through our website, your information may be collected, processed or stored by that provider in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

We recommend reviewing the relevant third-party provider's privacy policy and terms where appropriate.

Third-party services are separate from Glossy Fox, and their own terms may apply to your use of those services.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites or services that are outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have against Glossy Fox under Australian Consumer Law.

We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be used or disclosed, and how you can contact us about your personal information.

Our website may also use cookies, analytics tools and similar technologies to help operate, improve and understand how our website is used.

By using our website or purchasing from us, you acknowledge that your information may be collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Nail appointments are subject to our separate Nail Services Terms & Conditions, including our booking, cancellation, appointment and service policies.

Appointments may be booked and managed through third-party scheduling software, including Acuity Scheduling. Use of the booking platform may also be subject to the platform's own terms and privacy policy.

When you book a nail appointment with Glossy Fox, you agree to the applicable nail service terms provided at the time of booking.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees that apply to our nail services under Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent permitted by law, Glossy Fox is not responsible for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include circumstances such as postal delays, third-party service interruptions, website outages or events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian Consumer Law.

Where Australian Consumer Law permits a limitation of liability, any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, services or legal requirements.

The most current version will be published on our website with the date it was last updated.

Any changes will apply from the date they are published and will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms will be subject to the applicable laws and courts of Victoria, Australia, subject to any rights you may have under Australian law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including applicable consumer guarantees.

Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory right or obligation under Australian law, that legal right or obligation will apply to the extent of the inconsistency.

For more information about your consumer rights, please refer to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be read down or removed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

If Glossy Fox does not immediately enforce a right or provision under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce that right or provision in the future.
